Stone Dog Zen este unul dintre proiectele solo ale chitaristului Josh Johnson (Mammothor), langa care se afla Dirk Verbeuren (tobe, Megadeth), Chris Clancy (voce, Mutiny Within) si Chris Kollias (bass, Serenity Broken). Prima melodie a trupei se numeste “The Tethered”, este un thrash metal modern, si chiar daca productia este mai aproape de cea a unui demo, totusi calitatea muzicii este evidenta, fiind un proiect foarte interesant de urmarit in viitor.
