Înființat în 2004, de Robert Ljung (voce), Gustav Lithammer (chitară) și Filip Brandelius (bas), grupul suedez a cunoscut o ascensiune rapidă datorită energiei și forței generate de piesele compuse.
Adept, care va cânta pentru prima dată în România, are la activ trei EP-uri și patru albume: „Another Year of Disaster” (2009), „Death Dealers” (2011) materialul care marchează schimbări ale direcției muzicale originale, post-hardcore către metalcore, „Silence the World” (2013) și „Sleepless” (2016). Destul de curând după înființare, trupa a semnat cu label-ul indie Panic & Action, trecând apoi la Napalm Records cu care au și lansat, de altfel, „Sleepless”.
Albumul de debut, puternic influențat de trupe precum „Funeral For A Friend”, „Life In Your Way” și „Secret Lives Of The Freemasons” este dominat de piese upbeat, riff-uri rapide și versuri presărate cu subiecte legate de problemele cotidiene sau de teme sociale.
