Since 2013, we tried to also be a platform for promoting upcoming Romanian acts. We try to do it as best as we can, and when circumstances allow this.
This being said, 2024 turned out to exceed all plans and expectations. Since this will be, without a doubt, the biggest rock and metal festival ever held in this part of Europe, with thousands of people coming in from all places of the world, it goes without saying that having an event without the participation of national bands would be a significant loss for the local scene.
So without any further ado, please welcome CRIMENA, Taking Back August, Indian Fall, Machiavellian God and June Turns Black
INDIAN FALL will perform a special tribute to Andrei Calmuc, one of the founding members of the legendary Romanian act, who tragically passed away in 2022. Naturally, the show will take place on the stage that proudly takes his name.
As for the other four acts, we strongly believe they represent the future of the Romanian metal scene, regardless of their style. All four have immense talent, a strong work ethic and a very contemporary approach. We feel that having these acts at Rockstadt Extreme Fest can turn into a gateway between the international crowds and the local Romanian scene, thus we encourage everyone to not only check them out, but also take into account what the romanian scene has to offer as a whole.
